About me
I’m a proud Texan with a deep love for photography. Ever since I picked up a camera at eleven years old, I’ve been drawn to the magic of capturing fleeting moments—the kind that tell a story, evoke emotion, and preserve the essence of human connection.
For over two decades, I was a staff photojournalist at The Dallas Morning News, where I witnessed and documented the full spectrum of life. From moments of triumph to times of hardship, each assignment taught me the value of empathy, patience, and the profound impact of storytelling through images. These experiences have given me a greater appreciation for the beauty and fragility of life.
Now, I call Uptown Dallas home, where I live with my wife and our two dogs, Warren and Murray. When I’m not behind the camera, I enjoy welding, practicing Pilates, and exploring the energy of my neighborhood—all of which fuel my creativity. Whether through photojournalism or portraiture, my goal remains the same: to honor and preserve life’s most meaningful moments.
Unfiltered Storytelling
I believe that the unfiltered, natural moments of your wedding day make for timeless and cherished photos.
My approach is to capture your wedding day as it truly happens, without relying on filters or color grading that can quickly become outdated fads. By avoiding stylized effects, I ensure that your photos remain authentic to the spirit of your special day, year after year.
I'm able to capture the emotions and memories that make your wedding unique and unforgettable. My goal is to provide you with a faithful and accurate representation of your wedding day, allowing you to relive those moments for a lifetime.
If you're seeking a wedding photographer who understands the value of capturing genuine, unfiltered moments, I would be honored to be a part of your celebration of love. Together, we can create photos that stand the test of time and tell the story of your love for generations to come.
